Dr. Terrence K Brog

Deputy Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer

Terry Brog is deputy director of operations and chief operating officer of PPPL, a position he assumed in June of 2016. He served as interim director of the Laboratory from September of 2016 through August of 2017. Before joining PPPL, Brog was manager of the Strategic Projects Division for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He was previously chief operations officer for PNNL’s Energy and Environment Directorate.  Brog worked for several companies in operations, manufacturing and research and development for 20 years prior to PNNL, including as the DOE programs manager for AlphaTrac, a consulting firm specializing in risk assessment and emergency management. Brog received a  Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan.
