Dr. Stacia A Zelick
Stacia Zelick was named Chief Planning Officer of Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory in October 2017. She is responsible for strategic planning and serves as the Laboratory’s senior staff leader of managerial processes for institutional planning, performance and process improvement, contract requirements, corrective actions, contractor assurance, and technology transfer.
Prior to this role, Stacia was the Laboratory’s Interim Deputy Director for Operations, from September 2016 to September 2017. Major responsibilities included managing the Laboratory’s day-to-day activities across all operational departments. Prior to that, Stacia was Chief Information Officer and head of the Information Technology Department, from May 2015 to September 2016.
Stacia was Director of Information Technology at Rutgers University from November 2012 to May 2015, and served in management positions in IT for higher education for the previous 12 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Organization and Management specializing in Information Technology Management from Capella University in 2013; an M.B.A. degree in Management Information systems from Montclair State University in 2008; and a B.A. degree in computer information systems jointly from Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
She earned her Ph.D. in Organization and Management specializing in Information Technology Management from Capella University in 2013.
