Display of Hi-Res Data

This invention enables plotting a very large number of data points relative to the number of display pixels without losing significant information about the data.  A user operating the system can set the threshold for highlighting locations on the plot that exceed a specific variance or range.  Highlighted areas can be dynamically explored at the full resolution of the data.
