Professor Yasaman Ghasempour, Princeton University

Bio: Professor Yasaman Ghasempour is an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. She received her Ph.D. and master’s degree from Rice University and her bachelor's degree from the Sharif University of Technology. Yasaman is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2022), the 2020 Marconi Young Scholar Award, and the Excellence in Teaching Award (Princeton SEAS). Yasaman is listed as one of 10 stars worldwide in Computer Networking and Communications in 2022. Her group is focused on next-generation wireless networks and sensing systems, including novel devices and protocols for millimeter-wave and terahertz bands.
