Community College Internships (CCI)

The Community College Internships (CCI) program at PPPL is for students interested in technical careers relevant to plasma physics and fusion energy research.

Engineering Undergraduate Internship Program

In the Engineering Undergraduate Internship Program, engineering undergraduate students join engineers at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory for 10 weeks in the summer providing a valuable, practical experience as an engineer at a National Laboratory.

Operations Internship Program

In the Operations Internship Program, undergraduate, and graduate students join staff at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory for 10 weeks in the summer providing a valuable, practical experience performing tasks critical to the successful operations of a National Laboratory. 

Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI)

The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) program held at PPPL is for current and recently graduated undergraduate students interested in performing plasma physics and fusion energy research


 

Workshops, Conferences & Courses

APS Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics

The APS Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) are a set of regional conferences held at twelve different locations around the US with the aim of encouraging young women to continue in physics.

Introduction to Fusion Energy and Plasma Physics Course

During the summer, PPPL hosts an intensive, online course on plasma physics and fusion energy sciences, taught by world renowned scientists from various national and international institutions.

Workshop in Plasma Physics for Undergraduates

The PPPL Undergraduate Workshop in Plasma Physics is a chance for undergraduate freshmen and sophomore students to learn about the fields of plasma physics, fusion, and the research done at PPPL. 

Visiting Faculty Program (VFP)

The Visiting Faculty Program is for faculty from colleges and universities with limited research facilities and from those institutions serving populations underrepresented in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.
