We would like to officially welcome our 2014 summer program students. The program kicked-off on June 9th with the week-long Introductory Course in Plasma Physics, an intensive lecture series for students before they begin their research.

The 2014 Young Women's Conference is Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics attracted students from all over New Jersey! With almost 400 students, 50, chaperones and almost 100 volunteers from PPPL and Princeton University, it was our largest event to date!

It was a beautiful autumn day in Princeton, NJ. As tailgaters got ready for the football game (Princeton vs. Lafayette) in Lot 21, others took the short walk into Jadwin Gym to take part in the University's Annual Community & Staff Day.

As the summer internship programs at PPPL come to an end, students were finally able to show off all of their hard work. On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, approximately 25 students pinned their posters up and made wonderful presenations to PPPL staff, family and special guests.

Some students come into the high school internship program at PPPL already harboring an interest in plasma physics, knowing exactly what research they want to work on and what they want to learn. Others come in not really knowing what to expect.

On Sunday, June 9th, the Science Education Department welcomed a new group of students to Princeton. They were invited to and participated in, our summer undergraduate programs kick-off picnic, on Princeton University’s main campus.
