A Collaborative National Center for Fusion & Plasma Research
Science Education Blog

On Sunday, June 9th, the Science Education Department welcomed a new group of students to Princeton. They were invited to and participated in, our summer undergraduate programs kick-off picnic, on Princeton University’s main campus.

Approximately 45 students from some of the most prestigious United States universities, will spend 10 weeks of their summer conducting research at PPPL and other national labs and universities across the country.

On Saturday, June 15, we will say “see you later” to 16 of our students, who will be traveling to other sites to conduct their research. Some of those sites include: General Atomics, San Diego, CA, Los Alamos National Lab (LANL), New Mexico, MIT, Boston, MA, among others. The remaining students will stay at PPPL for their internship.
