High school seniors are eligible for year-round internships, both paid and for credit and we run science quiz competitions for both high school and middle school students, public lectures for all, and a single-day conference for women interested in becoming a scientist or engineer. Join us!

PPPL's Science Education department offers a limited number of internship positions for outstanding high school seniors during the summer after graduation.
Each year PPPL hosts the New Jersey Regional Science Bowl, a double-elimination contest with a question and answer rounds in the fields of chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy, mathematics, and general and earth sciences.
Science on Saturday is a series of lectures given by scientists, engineers, and other professionals involved in cutting-edge research. Held on Saturday mornings throughout winter, the lectures are geared toward high school students. The program draws more than 300 students, teachers, parents, and community members. The Young Women’s Conference in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics introduces middle-school and high-school-aged girls (in 7th through 10th grades) to women scientists and engineers and the wide breadth of careers available to them in these fields.
