PREPARATION OF SOFE'01 ABSTRACTS FOR SUBMITTAL

S. Raftopoulos, M. Kalish, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, P.O. Box 451, Princeton, New Jersey, 08543

Your abstract should be a single paragraph that describes the content of the paper. You may download these instructions formatted so that they may be used as a template as either a Word or Adobe pdf file (click on the words "Word" or "Adobe" to download the files). The abstract should be single-spaced, on 216mm by 280mm (8.5in. by 11in. or A4) paper. Please use Times or Times New Roman font. The material (including title authors, author affiliations, figures, footnotes, references, instructions etc.) must fit on one page. The title must be 12pt in all BOLD CAPITALS, and be centered on the page. Follow the title with a blank line. Use 12pt font for the remaining text (10pt if space is required). On the next line again centered, type the names of the authors (initial first name, full last name) and their institutions. Follow the list of authors with a blank line. Type the body of the abstract, justified on both sides. Within the space allotted, authors may use diagrams, equations, and other relevant material for which the lettering is at least as large as the typed text. In the space at the bottom of the page insert all instructions regarding your abstract. List the topical category (see subject categories listed on the web site and in mailings), poster versus oral preference, and contact information (name, complete address, email addresses, and the telephone and FAX numbers) for the principal author. Authors may also indicate their preference of paper placement in relation to other papers. The preferred method for submittal of abstracts is Microsoft Word. Adobe, or LATEX formats are acceptable if Word is not available. Use the presenter / author's last name as the file name when submitting your abstract electronically.  Abstracts submitted in the body of the email or mailed as hard copy are not preferred, but acceptable if the electronic formats are unavailable.
