Mark your calendar and prepare to have some fun at The Princeton Plasma Physics Lab's Open House on June 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. when the Laboratory will open its doors for the public to see the National Spherical Torus Experiment and other research experiments. Come take a self-guided tour, take part in hands-on activities, watch demonstrations. Plans also include a moon rocks display from NASA, lectures on fusion by PPPL Director Stewart Prager, a cryogenics show, firefighting demonstrations and numerous other activities as well as refreshments and give-aways.  OPEN HOUSE PROGRAM BOOKLET (PDF)     Read more...

Arriving at PPPL:

Vehicle parking will be available on-site for guests. As you approach the main gate, you will be directed to one of two parking lots. Please have your government-issued photo ID (such as driver's license or passport) ready to expedite the check-in process. If the on-site parking lots reach capacity, satellite parking nearby (about 1/2 mile) will be made available with shuttle service to the Laboratory.


Guests that are 18 years of age or more will be required to produce government-issued photo ID (such as driver's license or passport). Children being accompanied by an adult are not required to produce identification. The PPPL Site Protection Division is authorized to inspect vehicles and personal packages, such as briefcases. satchels, book bags, and purses. No weapons, firearms or illegal materials are permitted on site. Backpacks and large satchels will be prohibited. Video surveillance is in place at this Federal facility.
