Permanent Magnet Generator-like AC Current Drive for Torroidal Fusion Devices

The scheme is similar to a permanent magnet generator.  Large strong permanent magnets placed toroidally on the outside of a torus are used to create a magnetic flux that links the center of the torus through an iron (ferromagnetic material) spherical shell connected to an iron center column core.  Pulsing the magnetic flux by moving the magnets can drive inductive current in the plasma since the secondary or the stator of the generator is the plasma.
