QUEST

From July 5th through July 8th, teachers from New Jersey schools visited PPPL to learn about 21st energy sources.  Sophia Gershman, Aliya Merali, Andrew Zwicker and Stephanie Wissel hosted local New Jersey K-12 teachers for the course entitled Energy in the 21st Century. The course touched on of topics including: renewable alternative energies, fuel cells, nuclear fission and fusion. The course is a module in a two-week program, QUEST, administered by TeacherPrep on the Princeton University's campus where college-level science topics are discussed with K-8 teachers using an inquiry-based approach.
