ABSTRACTS
Submission between June 1-26, 2009
Anyone wishing to present a paper and/or poster during this meeting should submit an abstract to the local organizers via e-mail:
Since abstracts will be made available on the web site prior to the meeting, it is recommended that the following guidelines be used for abstract submission:
1. Page size: Letter size (8.5 x 11 inches) or A4 (297mm by 210 mm) - vertical orientation
2. Margins: 25 mm left, right, and bottom margins,. Top margin 30 mm
3. Length: one page
4. Layout
(a) Title: single-spaced, 14-point size, Times Font, bold
(b) Authors: single-spaced, 14-point size, Times Font
(c) E-mail address of the presenting author: single-spaced, 12-point size, Times Font
(d) Affiliation: single-spaced, 12-point size, Times Font
(e) Text: 1.5 spaced, 12-point size, Times Font
5. The files do not include copyrighted fonts or other impediments for reproduction
6. The abstract may be text only or contain figures and graphics, but must be only one page
7. PDF files are mandatory.
File name should be: Topic number-Author last name-First name initial.pdf
example: 2-Buffon-G.pdf
8. The abstract should be sent electronically, no later than 26 June 2009, to the e-mail address
(email to TS Hahm, tshahm@pppl.gov) with subject heading “Hmode3day & Abstract:name of attached PDF file”
PAPERS
Participants are encouraged to publish their presentations in the special issue of Nuclear Fusion. However, written papers are not required for presentation of a poster or participation in the meeting. Publication charge which is separate from the registration fee should be paid by the participant.
Manuscripts should be prepared and submitted according to the Guidelines for authors of Nuclear Fusion Special Issues by October 2, 2009. see attached.
