| The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) was founded in 1951 by Princeton University Professor of Astronomy Lyman Spitzer, Jr. The Laboratory is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and is managed by Princeton University. It is sited on 88 acres of the University's James Forrestal Campus, about four miles from the main campus. |
